Born in 1932, JOHN BANIYAN DAS, was a different child among two brothers and five sisters. As a child he would make bricks from empty matchboxes and slushy mud. These people are also the victims of the ‘FONI’ cyclone severely, having no shelter food and far away from their daily essential. The main occupation of the people is daily labour the amount they earn daily from their day labour is not even sufficient for their 2 time simple meal of the day. Even if they happened to be absent one day from their work due to sickness or any other reason than they have to starve. In this situation without any additional support it is impossible to get food for them

The FONI cyclone did not compromise with anybody neither in the town nor in the country side of Odisha province there was huge loses everywhere including strong building and the boundary wall of various government offices has been damaged. If the FONI cyclone could do such harm to the so called strong building then we can reason it out what it has happened to the poor and slum dwellers of Bhubaneswar and surrounding among whom basically Vishwa Jyoti is working.
