Utensil Distribution

We have started utensil distribution campaign which will take place at different tehsils, with the help of participation of public representative. Many among India’s poor and underprivileged are short of adequate clothing and other basic things. Donated second-hand goods which are in usable condition not only make their lives better but also promote the eco-friendly concept of recycling. What is waste for you is resource for the less fortunate. So instead of throwing away something, donate it! Some of the most useful items for the needy are clothes and footwear. In our urban homes, we have clothes that do not fit us anymore. As our babies and children grow up, they outgrow their clothes and toys every year. Similarly shoes and slipper also become surplus due to various reasons. Other used things that we can consider donating are bags, suitcases, bedsheets, blankets, books, stationary, utensils, mobile phones, appliances, electronic items etc. This not only recycles the items but also maintains a healthy balance in the society. We collect stainless steel utensils from different houses and reuse and recycle them among the poor.

Our basic idea is to collect old clothes, utensils, etc that can be still be used and make those available to the needy free of cost. This is an innovative idea and we are constantly working in this regard to make it successful. We do not donate the clothes, utensils etc but seeks to make it available to those in rural areas in a dignified manner. “We call it the work for an initiative,”. This involves connecting with grass-root organizations working in rural areas and providing clothes to the poor and needy in exchange for work.
