What is Vishwa Jyoti?

VISHWA JYOTI means Light for the world and it’s goal is “Bringing Light to the World full of Darkness” It is a Godly response to the crying need among the poor and down trodden of empathy, practical expressions of love, care and service to enable them to overcome poverty, exploitation and oppression and become productive, honest, sincere and hardworking citizens of our great nation India

Who is Vishwa Jyoti?

VISHWA JYOTI’ is a register organization, for the welfare and development of the weaker section of the society, formed by a group of like-minded people whose heart beats for the poorest of the poor, destitute, orphans, widows, and widower and neglected of the society. However, the organization is working among the destitute people of the remote, (countryside) interior tribal belt and different part of Odisha and beyond including the Himalayan belt since 1979. However it came to limelight only after its registration under the society registration Act.1860. Formally as Vishwa Jyoti in 1994 and it is now working as the torch bearer to lead the backward, weaker section of the society, to reach with the living light to the dying humanity and lead the multitude towards the light of knowledge, good and evil, self-reliance, awareness etc. With the general objectives to

Objectives of Vishwa Jyoti

  • Restore the dignity and self respect among the poor and marginalized
  • Enable the poor to take decisions to change their destiny and be transformed to become what humanity wants them to be
  • Creating awareness for the need for Literacy in order to achieve transformation
  • Bring awareness about health and wellbeing in the families and communities
  • Enable them to develop appropriate practical skill towards having livelihood that leads them to self reliance
  • Inculcate values such as love, service, sharing & caring for each other, honesty and good citizenship
  • Build awareness about the basic facts of life that leads them to fullness of life

Vishwa Jyoti is pursuing the above mentioned objective through the following initiatives

  • Raising awareness on various socially appropriate issues among women, children and men periodically in all targeted villages.
  • Establishing education centres in each village for both adults and children.
  • Conducting health awareness camps.
  • Conducting programs and activities to restore the dignity and self reliance among widows and widowers through practical assistance
  • Conducting leadership training among the youth.
  • Running an orphanage to provide opportunities to the orphans in remote tribal areas to access education for their own all-round progress
  • Running an English medium school in order to provide quality education to the orphans as well as to all the other poor and needy
  • Providing assistance to the poor to enable them to improve agricultural productivity.
  • Installation and repair of safe drinking water sources and also for irrigation.
  • Providing financial assistance to the poor for improvement of their livelihood through cultivation, livestock rearing
  • Asssitance to improve their economic condition.

Mr. Patab Pani - Founder

Mr. Patab Pani founder of Vishwa Jyoti while he was working for various multinational establishments he has to travel all over India and some other country aswell. As he happen to notice repeatedly certain people those who are going through the lifemill which is unexplainable unless one can see in the naked eye and feel the reality, but it is difficult to explain,through word and language is insufficient.After going through various experience Mr.Pani has to think for many month for those people to whom he met and listened their life story specially the poor, orphan neglected abominated highly vulnerable children, aged widows, and widower differently able people. People that are having no shelter, proper food, clothing, medicine schooling and uncertain of their future and many more,by seeing all these situation that has compel to start this organization with an intentions to identify with them and serve the deserving marginalised and destitute.

Mr. Pani is the dynamic aggressive sincere hard working with definite vision and mission to bring the fallen and dying humanity to know the way, the truth, and the life:. To achieve this goal he became workaholic his veteran personalities with multi-talent masterpiece. His all-round sacrifice ideology humble and disciplinary life style is remarkable to follow. His heart beat is always towards the development and upliftment of the poorest of the poor.

Mr.J.B. Das

Ret.Er.J.B. DAS is the dynamic aggressive sincere hard working social workaholic veteran personalities with multi-talented masterpiece. His all-round sacrifice ideology humble and disciplinary life style is remarkable to follow. His heart beat is always towards the development and upliftment of the poorest of the poor. Ret.Er.J.B. DAS is holding at present the post of chairman ship of Vishwa Jyoti. He is a greate asset for Vishwa Jyoti ministry.

Rev.Songram Keshory Singh

Rev.Songram Keshory Singh is hailed from a very dignitary background with unfathomable experience from various international foundation yet very humble and industrious. He have been travelling around the globe for rendering his noble service for all spheres of people. He is a good literate competent teacher for small children and counsellor for the youth a very good orator for the adult, old and destitute, marginalised and no doubt very gentle adviser appropriate to the contest.Rev.Singh is a good writer singer and music composer with multi-talentand pleasing personality. He is a great asset for Vishwa Jyoti. Each and every single activities of Rev.Singh is indispensable for the foundation.

Mr.Prafulla Naik

Mr.Prafulla Naik is a very humble person he is maximum time found himself verymuch in the duty. Mr.Naik having graduate degree also obtained accountant course which cause him to help the maximum to oversee the financial matter of Vishwa Jyoti.Apart from that he also take over different responsibility of Vishwa Jyoti.Mr.Naik is not bounded by time rather bounded by the work and responsibility. His manifold talent and contribution to Vishwa Jyoti has obtain enormous long lasting sustainable benefit.

Mr.Rasik Burdhan

Mr.Rasik Burdhan is a retired service man from the department of defence G.O.V.T. of India. As he has discipline himself in the said department so his heart beat is to serve the humanity the poor marginalised neglected abominated and the scorned of the society.Mr. Burdhan is a very dynamic active, having passion to serve the downtrodden people of the society. As he noticed the activities of Vishwa Jyoti which is exactly fitting to the inner heart desire of his .So he were self-motivated and joined to serve the humanity voluntarily through Vishwa Jyoti.

Mrs. Archana Singh

Mrs. Archana Singh is a literate peace loving full of enthusiastic self-motivated kind hearted cooperative with decent personalities. She has a lot of passion for the weaker section of the society to upgrading the poor downtrodden neglected orphan and aged widows and widower to bring them to the Stream line of educated civil society. As a result of her instinctive inner heart desire she has been spend and be spent of her entire for the above said deserving to accomplished the purpose.Mrs. Singh’s sincerity simplicity and dedicated lifestyle is not less than like a living light house for dying humanity, which are fumbling in the darkness of cruelboot of poverty and despaired multitudes. Mrs. Singh is a multitalented and computer degree course holder which is a big asset to  Vishwa Jyoti.

About Vishwa Jyoti

‘VISHWA JYOTI’ is a registered organization to serve the poor and marginalised in the society Formed by a group of like-minded people whose heart beats for the poorest of the poor,destitute, orphans, widows, widowers and the neglected of the society. However, the organization is working among the poor mostly,in the rural areas including several indigenous people groups living in remote parts of the country in Odisha and beyond including the Himalayan the belt since 1979. However Vishwa Jyoti came to the lime light only after its registration under the society registration Act of the government of India as Vishwa Jyoti in 1994 and has ever since been serving among the poor and leading them from darkness, towards the light of knowledge, awareness and self-reliance.
